With all of the new points of access continuously available to us, what are we, as designers, going to do in order to get and keep people interested in the information we will be representing?
I believe we will have to keep in mind the new technologies of the present, however, we will have to make sure that we remember that our goal is to communicate with an audience. We, as designers, will have to continue to understand that people don't always like to be bombarded with information, even though in the world we live in it is an every day, multiple times a day experience. So, we will have to continue to research how people work (how they think, how they respond to different stimuli and how different groups interpert different things). I also think we will have to remember that sometimes simplicity is key, and sometimes an exquisitly designed printed piece works better than an animated piece with bells and whistles and 3D graphics :)

design objectives and business objectives if the design meets all of those requirements it will be successful and get to the people it needs to.
